Labels are the identifiers of the industrial world. The two most common types of labels are thermal transfer labels and direct thermal transfer labels. Thermal transfer labels require an added ribbon in the printer for printing whereas direct thermal transfer labels are made up of a chemically treated, heat sensitive media that when exposed to heat, leaves a print instantly.
